15ct Edwardian Amethyst & Seed Pearl Necklace

A sparkling, lilac amethyst takes centre stage in this exquisite Edwardian pendant. The amethyst is claw-set within a crescent of delicate seed pearls, with additional pearls decorating the top of the pendant, leading onto its simple bale. The pendant is crafted in 15ct yellow gold, as displayed by a 15ct stamp on its reverse, dating the piece to pre-1931 when 15ct ceased production. The pendant runs freely along a 9ct yellow gold chain measuring 22 inches in length.
