15ct Yellow Gold Ruby & Diamond Brooch Dated Chester 1897

This ornate, Victorian brooch holds a full 15ct hallmark dating it to Chester 1897. The brooch showcases an estimated 0.20ct old-cut diamond, flanked either side by a single round ruby in a polished, central plaque. The plaque is surrounded by cannetille and studded detail, typical of the Victorian era. The brooch’s reverse holds its pin attachment, a full 15ct hallmark and a clear compartment in which a photo can be stored.
