A round ruby of approximately 0.20ct forms the centre of this small flower ring, held by four claws within a ring of petals in 9ct white gold. Each petal carries a diamond at its tip, adding up to approximately 0.05ct, so the flower sparkles softly around the deep red of the central stone. The petals are fluted and finished with a fine beaded edge, giving the head a gentle, textured surface. The white gold keeps the whole design cool and bright, letting the ruby supply the only strong colour. The flower head measures 9.8mm across and rests on a slim, slightly tapering band. It is a pretty, understated vintage ring with a little romance to it, and a thoughtful choice for anyone who loves floral jewellery.
