Flat, woven links give this vintage Italian collar its supple, ribbon-like drape. Made in 18ct yellow gold, the chain is built from rows of curved links, with short, paler bars set across the surface at intervals that add a subtle second tone and a pleasing sense of texture. The collar sits flat against the skin, so the pattern of the weave shows clearly at the neckline. It measures 15 inches and fastens with a bolt ring clasp, finished with a pair of paler end caps that echo the contrast within the chain. With no stones to compete, the gold and its finely worked surface are the whole story, making it a polished piece to wear alone or beneath a pendant on a shorter chain.
