Slender gold curves and a cascade of green peridots give this Art Nouveau pendant a light, flowing character. Four peridots, approximately 1.30ct in total, hang one below another along a central axis in 15ct yellow gold, and the largest, an oval, hangs freely from the base. Seed pearls add soft white accents at the ends of the scrolls and between the stones, and textured gold leaves curl around the central stones, echoing the natural forms favoured in Art Nouveau design. The open, curving frame keeps the pendant light and graceful despite its length. The fresh, spring-like green of the peridots is its main attraction, and it suits those who enjoy the organic style of the period.
