Art Deco Style Octagonal Suffragette Ring
First worn during the early 1900s, Suffragette jewellery marks the women’s right to vote movement, carrying a secret message: ‘Give Women Votes’, which is depicted within it’s green, white and violet gemstones.
A claw-set, round-cut amethyst sits at the heart of the ring, encased by eight trapeze-cut emeralds. These emeralds are surrounded by sixteen round, brilliant-cut diamonds forming an octagonal halo which then leads on to diamond-set shoulders. The shoulders meet a simple shank where a full platinum hallmark can be found.
