Victorian 18ct Stork Brooch

A fine piece of history, and a beautiful design dating back to the Victorian era. All delicately hand carved, its wing and feathers form the heart of its stork image, weighing 9.5grams in total. A neat barrel clasp has been attached to the reverse side, allowing it to be safely secured to garments. Throughout its cherished life, its original hallmarks have worn away. To preserve its story, we have tested the brooch as 18ct and have left it without any updated stamps.
