Pre 1930s Rope Detailed Opal Brooch

Expertly crafted, this piece dates back to before the 1930s. It’s age has worn away all markings, so we have tested the brooch as 15ct, which ceased production in 1931. The October birthstone, opal, shimmers blue and orange hues, symbolising faithfulness and confidence. Its satin, roped border leads across each side of the brooches bar, finishing with small gold details. On its reverse, a simple pin is attached.
